2026 Readings

This year my goal is to read more books than last year. Over the last week I was humbled when I thought reading 19 books was a lot. One friend informed me they read 68 books in 2025, then another read 230 on their kindle alone. Along with reading 20 books, I hope to read more fiction. No doubt being an avid reader helps transform people into better writers.

“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation – if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.” -1 Peter 2:2-3

Beyond regular books, I plan on reading through the Bible. While I love what faithful authors have to say in their books. These books only act as supplements for my soul. Supplements are good for the body, but they are not life sustaining. I need real spiritual food, that’s the Bible. I will read through the New Testament twice and Old Testament once.
